The name people see beside music you add, playlists you share, and songs you queue in an Online Jukebox. Changing it renames you everywhere you have already been credited. Leave it empty to go back to the name on your Google account.
Takes the place of the picture on your Google account. Square pictures look best; anything else is cropped to the middle and shrunk before it is saved.
You do not see playlists made by people you have blocked. To block someone, open one of their playlists and choose Report / Block.
Permanently deletes your account and everything in it: your playlists, hearts, listening history, uploaded songs, Online Jukeboxes and settings. Music and lyric fixes you added for everyone stay, with your name removed. This cannot be undone.
Which way the Visible to All / In My Private Jukebox choice starts on every import screen. Every import still shows the choice, so you can go the other way on any one of them.

Connect a full Spotify Premium account to play matched songs through Spotify — background play and lock-screen controls without uploading MP3s. Discovery and unmatched songs still use YouTube. Spotify Lite or Mini do not work.
You already use one Google account on both sites. Turn this on to keep shuffle preference in sync, and so Analytics can colour listening from each site separately.
Private audio files you upload power Background Play on your phone. Importing songs from YouTube creates their listings, but iOS still needs a matching audio file here to keep them playing when the screen locks. Your files stay on your account only; eligible songs use Background Play by default on phones, while desktop listening still uses YouTube. Everyone gets 500 MB.
