1. Account information
When you sign in with Google, we receive and store:
Sign-in is optional. You can browse and listen without an account, but some features (playlists, personal play counts) require it.
2. Listening & interaction data
When you use the jukebox, we store activity tied to your session or account so the app can work:
Anonymous visitors also get a random device ID stored in your browser so we can count unique listeners without requiring sign-in.

The city and country are worked out from your IP address on our own servers using our hosting provider's network data, so your IP address is not sent to any third-party geolocation service.
4. Local browser storage

Playback uses the embedded YouTube player. When you play a track, YouTube may collect data according to Google's Privacy Policy. We don't control what YouTube collects. We just embed their player.

That's it. We are not in the business of monetizing your information.
Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a hosted database platform with industry-standard security practices. Data is transmitted over HTTPS. IP addresses and email addresses are readable only by the site operators, never by other visitors: the public parts of the app can see play counts, ratings and lyrics history, but not the IP address or email address behind them.
You have the right to:

Suffering Jukebox is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
If we make meaningful changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of Suffering Jukebox after any changes means you accept the updated policy.
